Scan or measure the job
Use your phone to capture the space, or enter measurements yourself.
DecorMatePro® is a new app being built to help painters and decorators scan or measure a job, include the work that needs done, calculate labour and materials, and create a professional quote from one place.
Spend less time measuring and writing quotes, avoid missing chargeable work, and price jobs with more confidence.
Planned for iOS, Android and web.
Use your phone to capture the space, or enter measurements yourself.
Add preparation, repairs, surfaces, coatings and finishing.
Check labour, materials, business costs and profit.
Create and send a clear quote the customer can understand.
What the app is being built to do
Designed around how painters and decorators actually look at jobs, prepare surfaces, price work and complete projects.
Scan the room or work area with your phone, then review the measurements, surfaces and preparation items suggested by DecorMatePro.
Build the quote around the whole job, not only the size of the walls.
Who it is for
The planned platform will support domestic rooms, full homes, landlord work, shops, offices, hospitality, schools, care environments, housing contracts and wider commercial projects.
Why DecorMatePro exists
Painting and decorating has strong family links for the founder of DecorMatePro. After qualifying and working as a time-served painter and decorator, then building a career in computer networking, IT infrastructure and cyber security, the idea became clear: use that combined experience to give something useful back to the trade.
A clear development vision
DecorMatePro is being developed in stages, starting with the foundations painters and decorators need most and building towards a smarter, camera-led platform for surveying, estimating and managing decorating work.

Product concept
The app should feel simple on site: capture the room, review the condition, include the work, check the price and send the quote.
This example is a concept interface rather than a working app screenshot. It shows the intended direction for future product design and development.
